The University of Maryland Physics Department presents "Physics is Phun," a yearly series of free public lecture-demonstration that include both interactive and faculty-led demonstrations aimed at educating and entertaining a high-school level audience. The Department also hosts "Physics Discovery Days," a program offering demonstrations and hands-on activities targeted for 3rd - 5th grade students and their families.
