Volunteers are needed for the Smithsonian's kickoff celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month this September 13th! Held in conjunction with the exhibition 'Portraiture Now: Staging the Self,' the day includes cultural performances, arts and crafts activities for all ages, bilingual gallery tours, and more. We'll need help facilitating craft activities, taking visitor surveys, and working with a team of teen videographers who are taping visitor interviews. Bilingual English-Spanish speakers are particularly welcome.
